Dear IOBSE Spring Conference Attendees,
Please join me as we host the IOBSE’s
annual Spring Conference in Minneapolis, MN. The
Executive Board and I have a great educational and
entertaining experience planned for your enjoyment.
We are pleased to announce Minnesota
Supreme Court Justice, and NFL Hall of Fame Member Alan
Page as our key note speaker. Justice Page will be
featured during our Black tie event scheduled for April
29th at the Downtown Minneapolis Radisson and
Plaza Hotel. Justice Page is particularly notable for
the fact that he is both a member of the NFL Hall of
Fame and an Associate Justice with the Minnesota Supreme
Court. Justice Page is well known as a great orator and
we are fortunate to have him join us.
We’ve assembled a superb group of
speakers that will share a wide array of topics relevant
to “Security in a Changing World”. The expertise and
training that the speakers will provide will ensure you
enjoy a world class value added experience. This year we
will host over 160 attendees. Included are 50 diverse
college students from across the nation!
To celebrate our great year of
accomplishment we are planning an exciting Black tie
event to be held on Tuesday, April 29th at the
Minneapolis Radisson Hotel. During the Black tie event
we will take a moment to celebrate our history and the
celebrate those who founded this great organization. In
addition, we have a recognition event planned to honor
past and recent accomplishments.
The vision of the IOBSE founders was to
create a network of black and other minority security
professionals with an objective to diversify the ranks
of security management. This clear vision has provided
the foundation and framework to allow the organization
to succeed over the past 26 years. Enjoy the Spring
Conference and all Minneapolis has to offer. Most
importantly take the opportunity to connect with members
tenured and new.
